I just bought a rebuild kit for it and a vaccum secondary spring kit. Got a buddy thats going to hot tank it and rebuild it for me. It also doesn't help the engine sat for 3 years with old gas in the carb thats what probably gummed it up.

This is weird I would go get the codes pulled maybe you can come up with somthing there. If you have automatic locking hubs there junk buy manual ones. I used to have autos in my ranger till one of them got stuck in the lock position and made nice clunking sounds going down the road.
