I bought it from a guy up here that was finding them in the USA. This one was born at the San Jose plant and spent most of it's life in California, then was purchased from a place in Southern Oregon. I am owner number 4 counting the guy that had it here for a month.

Had no choice today but to throw up some quick shelves, I've got parts in the basement, parts scattered all over the garage and every trip to Montana brings more mayhem.
So I popped over to Home Despot this morning and picked up some lumber and threw up a couple of temporary shelves...no, I didn't spike them..I screwed them together :D

Hehe..they might have gonch...you never know!
All our cordlesses are DeWalt...the 120 ones are Milwaukee and the big concrete drill is Bosch.
Our wholesaler makes irresitable deals on the DeWalt stuff...I'm weak, what can I say :D

An ounce of planning is worth 12 oz of beer :D..or something like that!
When the truck gets done, before the car mayhem starts, I am finishing the garage.
A huge issue is I never planned on this kind of a restoration..it just kind of happend and I never had a chance to get the garage completed.

Nice job on the shelves. Good to see another part hoarder like myself. There has to be enough parts in my garage and out buildings to build 3-4 trucks if I only had frames and cabs.

Thanks Randy!...all of those parts are NOS stuff I've bought for the truck...as well as the original parts from the truck.
I did determine that I seem to have bought multiples of some items..

Even the battery tray looks like it's in really good shape. Nice shelves. I built a set of those once for my garage and now I can't find them. :wasntme:

I'm replacing the tray...do you want it?...I will glass blast it for no cost.

Shelves look good Duncan. If you start putting heavy items on them you might want to sister some 2 x 4 to the backs of the legs so they will take the weight instead of relying on the screws.

Thanks Mark, that did cross my mind..I know them damn things have a crappy shear rating.

In my best OSHA voice, "Where's the weight rating on those shelves"? smilietease

I tested them with my fat carcass :D
