Seems right. Might even get by undoing one side, but about might as well pull the whole assembly and inspect it. Not exactly a low wear part.

That will help out well. I'm sure it is a fairly common piece to need, especially on any trucks that sit near trees.

Finally got it all put together.Soldered the cable lugs and shrink tubed them with quick connectors for swapping around..25’ of 2ga welding cable ran along the frame to the back. The winch can be stowed in the truck box. This was my vision and...

If it has a regular box on it I know of no difference to the fit. They all were pretty much weak and you have to stay on top of keeping the latches lubed and free or they won't completely unlatch and next time you close it they close before going...

Got our first retained and measurable snow yesterday. Only like 1/2" here, closer to 3 at work. Nice and cold too, so should be a fun slide to work today. as it was a heavy wet snow, followed by a quick rain...

Snows have stayed a ways north to me so far. Not complaing at all - not ready and physically not as up to it this winter.

The good news on the seat - 1973 to 1996 will bolt into the same spot. 80-96 are direct, I think the 73-79 tracks are touch different. If you want original replacement, you have to go to restoration companies. LMC Truck stocks them - for $279...

Awesome! Looks to be restorable, but then anything is if you want to spend the time andmoney on it. Thse trucks are well supported for parts, and aren't that bad to actually do either. My dad had a 79 F250 for the farm for several years, then...

Getting ready to place an order on Jegs...And some new motor mounts from Speedway.

That makes things a little more interesting... and expensive.

So I guess gleaning info from YT and bringing it here is kind of a win-win, they get more viewership and we get more traffic? Never really thought about that much.

Here's my other "rig" at the moment...It's a '16 GT, not a whole lot done to it. Mods are listed here.

I can relate to that. I do get some inspiration as well from others. I have found as I get older and a number of events have come to pass I have become less outgoing and more quiet about a lot. I can't do much on build threads as I am not getting...

The 8N put the brakes on the same side. I guess if you have to apply both brakes have to kick it into neutral or catch the edge of both brake and clutch pedals... Also didn't reaalize the pto has to be engaged for the 3 point to work. I knew the...
