I grew up in Buffalo, so I have seen more than my fair share of rusty trucks on the road. I knew guys whose frames actually broke clean through from the rust and they were held together with a chain binder or two. :)

Then I moved to California, where we have vehicles that look like this:

:D

Ok, I'll stop rubbing it in now.

Hmm... 2700 miles, $3.50/gal, 8 mpg...

Would cost you $1200 in gas, roughly, and that's one way. Add in meals, motel, and I would bet that the trip would cost $2800.

If you haul three cars on a slant trailer, you have to clear at least $1000 per vehicle just to do a little better than break even.

Well, the cost all depends on how you plan it out. Get a utility truck that runs on diesel that will get upwards of 15mpg, sleep in the cab - there is plenty of room. There are medium duty rigs out here with Detroit Diesel / Cummins engines that sell for about 4K. A medium duty Isuzu can be had for about 3.5K. Get a trailer to haul 3 rigs at a time. Thats another ~2K. That cuts the cost way down and before long that will all pay for itself.

Mid to late 90's Taurus with a 3.8L v6. Not sure of the exact year, but they were different body styles. Since we mixed the fans up, it's impossible to figure which is which now.

Yes. Fsck them up the arse.

I didn't know you got booted too. :)

K-piggy was harassing me by editing my user title and signature. I don't remember what the user title was, but it was something to the effect of how I can't stay away from their site. I changed it and then he edited my signature to include "I may be a fanatic, but I obviously can't stay away" and I sent him an e-mail telling him to cut the childish crap out.

His response - "good-bye" and I was banned. I haven't logged in since (except to remove the cookies from my computer). I'm assuming it's permanent, and even if it's not, I wouldn't visit it unless I *needed* to, and even then I wouldn't log in with my ID. He can track me by IP, but if he's that bored, go for it.

What do you suppose made him want to play those kinds of games? I know the guy has a major ego problem, but thats stooping kinda low.

I got on his case about the rep points scandal. That's basically what started it, but I didn't get banned until I told him to knock it off.

Okay so it looks like Mike wants one of the ducts... Done.

And Jurgen wants the other duct, but he needs to figure out how I can ship it to him.

Who wants the fan? First come first serve. I'll get some measurements on it when I get back home Eric, if it's still around :)

What are the dimensions?
Did you not read my prior post? I don't have the fan with me... I'm in Davis... I suppose a google search might turn something up though...

DISCLAIMER: The Taurus fan DOES NOT fit on the 300 I6 engine. There is not enough clearance between the waterpump pulley and the radiator.
