Nothing today, but my stupid duty started losing systems left and right coming over a huge two lane bridge and the battery light popped up on Sunday. ABS light on, air bag light on, radio shat the bed, so shut everything off except essentials and milked for another 25 miles or so, then the beotch shut off 4 miles from my buddy's house in VA. EM EFFER! So Nick pulled the optima out of Karl's ranger (its always parked at Nick's place) and came to teh rescue. Drove as fast as I could the last few miles then had to get a ride out to the the autozone and walmart to get alternator and batteries that were under warranty, respectively. (Just did this over the winter in the got dang snow) So much for a nice sunday cook out celebrating Nick's birthday. Oh well, we got to shoot some clay pigeons and had a great dinner and a whole bunch of beer, night turned out alright!

Nah, I think it might have been locksmith error. I have another guy coming tomorrow who says he's done quite a few Rangers, so we'll see how that goes.

I thought about Ford, and called them up, and the guy was an idiot, and said they'd have to do a Diag to figure it out. Screw that. That's my very last resort. Especially for $90.

Technology sucks.

Welded the exhaust,replaced a few gaskets and orings. Painted the valve covers.
Getting ready to pull the cab on the other ranger in the next few days.

Threw the new drive shafts in the Bronco...very nice. And it appears the vibration went away at highway speeds.

Drove the 86 to work yesterday and its makin a scrapin/ grindin noise randonmly when I drive. Sounds kinda like somethin on a lathe. I figure its either the rear brakes draggin some or its the dust covers rubbin on the front discs.

I'm waiting for the locksmith to show up. Said he'd be here between 1 and 1:30, so I rushed home after school, only for him to call and say he had a scheduling conflict, and he would be here between 2 and 2:30. It's now 2:15.
