Fabrication is a non issue...but I want a Ford seat.
I got it. I love my seats.....it has a nice HUGE single arm rest in between the two outside seats and under the arm rest is a third seat with belts. Super comfortable. Match well.![]()

Did I say Dodge? I meant Dog seat covers over my factory original Ford one's and they're real comfortable.

Hey Duncan, are you talking about this seat?

If so, you're gonna probably have to have one recovered. I've never seen a Blue one in my life.

Yep..that's the puppy...and if they don't make a blue one...I will either have to decide on a contrasting color or go another route. There is no way I am dyeing the vinyl.
Black leather would be ok.
You could have an upholstery shop put blue vinyl in there. Use the same seat frames and add new material. The do it on Overhaulin and Pimp My Ride all the time.![]()
Duncan they have 2-3 sets at the local pull a part. Seats are around $25.00 + tax (each) and the center console is $13.06 + tax

Ok....how the hell does a person remove the shift linkage from the transmission housing?...shop manual simply tells you to remove it..awesome.
Looks like the rods ride in a bushing but it seems no obvious way to remove them.
I know on a 2wd they are pressed in a nylon bushing to keep them in place.
That's what this looks like...just yank?
Hmmmm....not liking this...something is gonna break.
Just got to go slow it took 2 of us. One to apply pressure with screw driver or small pry bar while the other pushed the tip out with the vise grips or channel locks
