I know. I'm thinking about doing a little bit during each break I have from college like tear down this winter, then engine/transmission in the summer, and so on. We'll see how it goes.

Make sure you take lots of pics...for here and for reference!

Likewise..It's all the details I worry about, the bulk of the truck is easy...the little things I forget!
Next thing is to find a 40/20/20 seat with console in blue...don't know how difficult that will be.

I think those are the crown jewel of all Ford seats. That's what I wanna swap in Red, and have been looking for a good one for quite some time. I had a couple with trashed springs, foam and cloth, that I sold for $50 each...so I can only imagine what a good one will run.

Yeah...I've done a bit of looking here and there and there doesn't seem to be a lot out there. I don't mind having to reupholster it...I just don't want to fart around trying to dye the vinyl.

What does those seats look like? I can keep a eye out here.

The middle flips down for a cup and storage console. The two outer seats are adjustable and the middle is fixed (If I remember right)...and it would be 40/20/40...my math was wrong!

Does it matter the year or Truck?

Up to a 97 I believe in a heavy duty 250 or normal 350....not sure what year they started making them. I don't know if Bronco seats and console would work, but would consider them if they fit.
Thanks Cliff!

IIRC...the Bronco console will NOT, fit properly in a truck.

No problem. But I can say the Bronco was 3 pieces 2 seats and a console. I have been looking into Expeditions for seats and a console for my truck. If I find what you are looking for I will take pictures and send them to you.

I remember the Bronco seats/console being that...I wonder how much dinking around would be involved in a late model seat like the Expedition or Super Duty.

Just put all new seats in it and the arm rests that come with the new seats will fit perfectly.:)

I really don't know what the hell I'm talking about, I just need to make 500 posts by tomorrow to get a T-shirt.

I remember a guy over on eff tee eee that put a set of King Ranch seats in his dentside. IIRC, the toughest part about finding a seat is making sure it'll fit width wise and won't have your chest in the steering wheel. THE KR seats weren't my style, but was proof it could be done. And with your profession, I think you could handle wiring them up.

I hope to find out.

I know they will work in the 80-96.

Wish I could see that, but I misbehaved too much there and I'm not allowed back.
