Nice door panels you have there. I'm glad I started from scratch with my wiring. My original harness was butchered.

We're talkin Ranger Lariats, which disappeared in 82.After that, the plastic map pockets were offered on the XL which basically IMO was a mix between the Custom and Ranger trim levels of 80-81.They were probably offered as an option on the XLT as well. The 82 F250 XL I got my interior out of had the hard plastic map boxes, but someone else had already called dibs on them and the door panels.*#@!

I see never messed with them years.

Thanks Buck...the door panels themselves are a bit ratty...a couple of broken edges and the chrome from the bottom is quite faded. If I can't find some NOS ones, DC ones will be ok. The jute backing is also in great shape. I'm real happy that the dash harness is in good shape, I wasn't looking forward to having to order individual wires and rebuilding it!!

So my carpenter buddy made me up some wood frames so I could put the cab and box on. He also made it so I could put parts in the bottom of them for temporary storage. I went and got 12 125# swivel casters and will put 6 on each. Sometime this week I should have enough bodies around to lift the cab off and hopefully the box as well.

Oh thought he built them on-site...gotcha

That was part of the issue...there is not enough room to fart in there right now, so he did it at his shop....I can't believe I'm out of room..[confused]

Grumble, grumble...damn those NOS sockets were pricey!...$30 each for the combos and $18 each for the reverse...and I ordered 3 of each...so I have a couple of spares just in case.
