Anyone know where I can buy a new Evaporator for a '76 F-150? It has factory air. Have asked around local and can get about everything except the Evaporator.
if you have a valve or put a valve to shut off water to the heater core, that H-pipe lets the water circulate back instead of "stacking" up at the valve. More or less presure relief.
looks great. I been kicking around the idea of doing that to the blue truck, if I ever get it done lol. The only thing I have near by is Rino-Liner as far as I know.
had a dog follow me home once too, after a mile or so he finaly quit pulling against the rope :) looks like you got a cool project there. Hope it don't run off like like my dog did lol
not sure if its worth $400. I bought 2 of them about a month ago for $75 each. I also got 2 ZF 5-speeds for $200 each from the same guy. Only mention that for price comparing not sure what prices are in your area. That being said $400 seems alittle much to me, but I have been know to be quite...
those are good trannies. The case will accept all the old TopLoader internals if you find one with a bad case. They are quite simple and easy to build/re-build. You could probly do it yourself for alot less money and a little time. They have gotten a bit of a bad rap but if you are not drag...
When I first bought the new headers I ran 3-in pipe to the back of the cab and welded them strait to 5-in big rig pipes 5 foot long dumped just in front of the rear-end. Sounded awsome........................... the first week, then realy got on my nerves. Ended up getting a couple 18-in glass...
when it comes to the 360's anything over the original manifolds you will feel the increase. I think that goes for the 390 too but I know for a fact the 360 realy wakes up with the added flow of short or long. I put a set of shortened/butchered long tubes on one and it made a difference then...
I left for work right after I comented on this. Today while workin I was thinkin "well I might be able to go ahead and get those Hummer tires for it" after reading these I reckon I'll stick with the 285's.@Ben I was amazed at the ride of this truck. I had a 75 F-150 4X4 that I thought rode...
far out thanks guys. I had just heard that the 33's might be pushing if I load at all so wanted to ask befor I went any further. Will go get into it alittle more by this weekend and my just bring another on home lol
intermitent(spl?) wipers were an option on these trucks. Came on my SCS and I have put it on my other 2, simple plug and play deal, then you have off fast, realy fast or fast with a hestitation lol.
I have always been more of a GEN 6 kinda guy so I have 0 time with the TTB, but the other day I ran across an ’88 F-250 4X4 with the mechanical 7.3. I took it for a spin and the ride in that truck was great. Still not so much digging the body but I can always swap one of mine on later. My...
Just finnished reading this from beginning to  started to say end but that aint right. I am not going to or even near the extreme you are, but mine has snowballed from replacing the trans to completely stripped for repaint to frame paint as well. Am stopping there because of money lol...
nope original Ford. I have 2 from 76's and one from a 77. They are diferent from the 73 that I have. The little "V" that is stamped is deeper on the newer ones, they press against the insert on the 73 and deform it. Have tried to take pics to show what I mean but they don't realy show the...
I have a 71 SCS that the grille, inserts, and bumper where all smashed when I got the truck. Last weekend I decided to pull out the spares and get it looking presentable. I knew the bumper was different and was OK with that but the grille is the problem. I have and intended to use the inserts...
another option would be the old alloy rims they put on the Dodge pickups and Ramchargers. They are alittle scarce but see them around some, usualy not too high when they are out there. I had them on my 75 F150 in high school. they were 15X7 and fairly light. They looked good cleaned up or left...
I have an OK set of 8's two good pairs of 7 and 9. and one almost perfect 5. Even have a pair of 2's that needs to be repaited, I may end up using them if I can't find the ones in the pic.
