Seems to be the going rate for good quality work.

Yep...that is one of the reasons I tried to find a truck in as good of shape as possible...I figured the money originally spent would come back in spades when it was body/paint time. I will be putting most everything together with the body shop setting and adjusting doors, hood etc.

Swapped out the carb on the 86 and put on a little cheapo electric fuel pump so itll run on the other tank. Runs great now but that 3 year old fuel that was in the tank sure dont smell too hot.

Hey Ben, how far off of I95 are you? I need to stop by one on one of my trips to SC if you aren't too far off! Though, I don't know after seeing your "drag" pictures....

A couple hours. But just make sure your trip is withing 48 hours of my day so I can afford the gas for the trip...hahaha. I'm down for a meet up...and I gotta pick up some parts from Mark anyway.

Yeah...I usually wake up between 530 and 630...and in the office within 45 minutes of wake up time. Work til somewhere between 330 and 630. Recently, been coaching that middle school team so I get there by 4...and now some how my little sister wrangled me into coaching her team too, (yes she plays football and is a middle line backer, and I'd much prefer if she didn't play, but she likes making boys look bad) and that goes to 8. Then I chill with the gf from 9-midnight/1am then try to get to bed...than start all over again.

Ben, if you're interested in heading a little bit north there is a mud bog at Saluda in VA on Oct 2nd that I'm going to try to make it to and then another at mountainview VA (near fredericksburg) on Oct 9th I will also be trying to make it to. I'm doing my best to make it to both, but it depends on money - at this point if it's one or the other I'm going to try my hardest for the 2nd because I'll have a better chance at that race with the Bronco based on how they do the classing, but let me know if one date works better for you and if I can't make both I'll try for that date - if you can make either.

Edit, the 2nd is also about 2 hrs further south, so that one might work better for you!

Paul, let me know which one your going to. Fredricksburg is only an hour and a half for me. And it sounds like fun.
Last time I went to Saluda was around 1980.

Got my seat fabric samples from SMS. I'm not happy at all with them. The vinyl was spot on, but they sent me cloth for a Ranger XLT, or 82-84 Lariat. I specifically put in 1980 Ford F100 Ranger Lariat.

Since my seat is already torn i'm gonna clip a little bit of the fabric out and send it to them. Hopefully they can match it up with the right stuff.
