Yeah thats probly the better way to do it if it wont run decent with em 1 1/2 turns out. Also if ya do it that way make sure ya dont have any vauum leaks or itll never let the idle down.

then you need to get a vacuum gauge... when setting the idle mixture screws you are looking for the best manifold vacuum possible

i just turn halve.. start it rev it.. see if it blows black smoke of smell it..

today i got it just right no smoke and no smell


i gotta get a guage lol
