So got a new to me truck this week From my apple dealer. Its a 99 f150 4.2l. Needs some tlc but for 700 dollar at 107000 miles Im not complaining. Any one want to buy A POS Hyundai Elantra.[emoji23]
So needs brake hose on drivers side I'm thinking. Probably due for a tune up. need cooling system serviced needs air filter needs belt. needs rattle in drivers door addressed needs odometer fixed so it stays on. needs a good cleaning. needs those power window motors I bought for my Festiva's back in the day and still have laying around. needs door lock actuators and a remote system to fix my laziness. [emoji39] She's not pruddy butt she solid.

Those are solid trucks, we have two at my job and each have well over 200k hard stop and go route miles, that old V6/5sp combination is punchy and fun. You got a steal at 700 bucks.

I've joked with the bossman about using one for a Coyote/6sp swap, but he doesn't want to come off the cash . . go figure.

So The Apple Wagon got some loving yesterday.

Got new Motorxraft plugs and orielys wires and an air filter.

Glad these are not in the truck anymore. autocrap plugs [emoji2961]

Was even able to use the original wire routers.
Got a full tank of fuel and just waiting on the boss to say go then out the door in the truck and 220 mile round trip for some ice cream. Hopefully my little fish bite miss is gone now. Will also get to see how the milage is on this beast of a motor.
This weekend get the bedliner out and pull the cluster so I can fix the odometer. Hopefully An AirForce trained component level electronic tech can figure it out. I hope.[emoji1787]
