All you need to do is fix up that front bumper and she'd be poi-fect. Or am I just imagining things.

I want a garage like that. :(

No my front bumper IS crooked. I always thought that the brackets were bent after I rear ended someone but a guy on the "other site" recently said that the bolts can slide forward and back to allow for adjustment, so I'm going to look into that today.

Thanks R, I'm gonna take my bumper off next weekend. Although those bolts look like they allow the bumper to slide up and down... Mine is ROLLED backwards (see pic above). Is there a sliding bolt in there somewhere that takes care of that?

Set a jack under the back edge (part that is down), loosen bolts slightly (on that side), jack the bumper up into place, tighten bolts. Repeat for the other side.

Almost that easy. Would be easier if you had an extra set of hands, but I have done it by myself before.

Sounds like a good method Brian but... I've got that plastic trim under the bumper, I wouldn't be able to jack underneath it...

If the plastic trim is made like ranger...you can just slide the plastic trim out of the slots on the end and go for it. :)

EDIT: I usually use a small floor jack for this. I have two small ones and one large one. A bottle jack or the ford truck screw jacks would work too.

The plastic trim on my truck is riveted to the bumper all the way across. Not to mention with the height of my truck it would be tough to jack the bumper up, I'd have to get lots of blocks :p

just take it off and see what you have to work with. If there's bent stuff, you may need new mounts. No tellin, really. With your california climate, I'm going to bet your bolts aren't rust welded on like mine were.

If horns r bent U can put large fender washers behind mount if the jack does not work . Sometimes the accordion part of frame gets compressed so its washers or pull it out carefully.

Hey that's a great idea! I think I might try that this weekend!
