Need brighter light for auto shift indicator

I rarely look myself, drove enough different vehicles that had no working display I just am in the habit of counting detents. I always mentally count 1, 2, 3 for drive...

Roger, that is true. But I still like things to work, plus I can't mentally count anymore!

Not sure if you can even make out my cluster in the 77 in this video. ....took it out tonight and thought I'd try and capture it.

Late for this one, Ken. Tried looking at the picture, but it says the video has been renamed or deleted.

I think they didn't start putting lights on the shift indicator until '78(not certain of that). So if yours has one, either I'm wrong or it was added on.

Mine is much brighter now, but not distracting. I tried taking a picture without the flash, but there is not enough light. Using the flash, the picture just looks like daylight, and you can't see the light from just the bulbs.
