Hey Brian - Last year I had a lead on an old phone truck out in the middle of Kansas. Got up early - drove out (6.5 hours) from St. Louis - spent about 1 hour in the junk yard then drove back to St. Louis. Wasted trip as it was a junked phone truck but by no means was it old. Point being driving up to STL from Arkansas would be about the same.

We'd love to have you on one of our little get togethers so if you can arrange dialysis such that you can make it sometime we would enjoy your company. You've just got to convince yourself it's going to be a long day of driving.

I appreciate the invite, but....Yeah.....from here it is 5 hours each way. I can't handle 10 hours of driving and whatever else all in one day. Not now anyway.

A few years ago I was in St Louis with the school, came home, dad and I hopped in the explorer, we drove 14 hours to get my 56, loaded it, and drove back home another 14 hours. I can't do that sort of thing now or I would be hospitalized.

I understand but want you to know that you are always welcome to attend. Maybe we can get a bunch of the St. Louis and KC folks together to attend the Show Me F100's show in Branson (near you).

You never know. I have my dialysis schedule changed (not as easy as it sounds) and my room reserved.

I am dreading it in some ways though. I will have dialysis Friday night (late), and won't get my treatment until Tuesday again. I am not looking forward to being sick by then...
