Got a few May car shows coming up that we might consider:

5/6 American Pride (I know what you're thinking don't even go there). It's put on by the UAW - United Auto Workers at the Fenton Chrysler Plant Union Headquarters.

5/19 Car show at Christian Brothers High School

5/26 Car show at Twin Rivers Worship Church 270/ Hwy 21

5/28 Cobblestone Nationals in St. Charles put on by Show World Productions. This is a big show with 100's of cars. If the weather is good there will be lots of cars to attend.

Every Friday a great place to go is Chuck-A-Burger. Lots of hotrods and people especially on nice warm summer nights. On 5/18 they will be celebrating their 50 year anniversary.

There are a bunch more but these are the ones I'm hoping to attend. My wife is talking about some sort of vacation but we haven't worked out the details so I'm still not absolutely sure which ones I will attend.

Hey Tom - what times will you be coming thru on Saturday or Monday. If nothing else maybe a few St. Louis folks could meet you for breakfast or lunch or dinner which ever works.

I just remembered I'm off all next week so I could do Monday too. Well except for in the evening, we are having a birthday party for my son. YelloThumbUp

All my times are guesstimates at best, as so many variables have to happen inbetween even now and then lol...
but if all goes well I could meet for breakfast saturday morning :)
Tomorrow morning I reload in Ashtabula OH and then have to beeline to Chi*cago and make a quick drop (about 150#... I could unload it myself if they don't show) and then head down as far as H.O.S will allow.
MONDAY

I'm so glad I double checked. My BAD....

The show is SUNDAY MAY 6 not Saturday. It's their fifth annual show so I accidently wrote it down wrong.

It's going to be at the UAW hall at 980 Bowles. 44 west to Bowles. South on Bowles to Horan Drive. Left n Horan and it supposedly is right there.

With that in mind I'm open all day Saturday and I could also meet on Monday night. Just let me know.

Monday is also a variable, as the load is "supposed" to be on my trailer mid-morning. I have often have such loads turn into mid NIGHT, hehe...

I will know by tomorrow afternoon about when I will be there, tho

I understand as my Father-in-law drove for Sears out of Kansas City.

Hey Scott - got any ideas where we can meet up with Tom? Need someplace near the Highway where he can park his rig. My wife suggested that there might be a Cracker Barrell in Fenton but neither of us can remember for sure.

There's the old Dugas Truck stop up by the racetrack, but if fenton works better I can park over by the equipment yard there on the road out of the way.

I'm good - if the Dugas truckstop by the racetrack works better for you then that's where we need to be. It's a lot harder for you to find a place for that 18 wheeler than it is for my 4 wheeler. Not exactly sure where Dugas is at but I'm sure I can find it. Maybe tomorrow you'll have a better idea of a possible time.

Dugas is what it USED TO BE CALLED... it is on I 55 exit 4b.

Close enough - Illinois side of the river - I-55 at the 4b exit. Shouldn't be too hard to find. Maybe Scott or Doc can make it too.

I thought that truck stop was shut down some time ago, Doc... you talking about that old texaco on the north side, west of soccer field?
