ok guys... im back.... and while i was gone.. i got my truck all back together... was gonna stay off till i got it running, but i need some help..

but point is, im back... i hope everything can be resolved.. and be easier.. ive got a fresh mindset.

and now for a couple of pics.. proving it... No leaks, just timing is way off, cant get it to run, will crank and back fire, just wont run...

Set the time?

Assuming it's all factory, I believe you press and hold the "clock" button, then use the "seek" and "tune" arrows to adjust the hours and minutes, respectively.

Guess I don't see why that would keep you from driving it to work, though...

wooden dowel will do the trick.
 
thats what i was trying to do.. but i couldnt tell when it was at the top of the compression stroke... was trying the finger over the spark plug hole, but couldnt tell...

If you couldn't tell, you were probably on the exhaust stroke. It's hard to hold your thumb over the hole on the compression stroke. I vote you're 180* out.
