Hey everybody, I'm new around here. My names Tyler, I'm 14 and from Knoxville TN.

I actually don't own a Ford, I own a 1950 chevy 3100, but my parents have a 2002 f-350, white, 4door, long bed, 4x4, PSD, auto, 4.10 gears.

Even though I dont own a Ford, I wish I did! smilietease

I love any old vehicle though, no matter who made them.

Actually, his truck is pretty solid. I have seen pics. He is working on it. YelloThumbUp

He is learning a lot about automotive work from what I have seen.

I met him on a hotrod website.

Hey Tyler!!! Welcome to FTF! My first ever vehicle was a 1948 Chevy 3100 panel truck( no Chris, I didn't buy it new!), so you're forgiven for your present truck. How about posting up some pictures of yours and your Dad's truck...

I forgot to add: He lives pretty close to where I got my truck. I bought it (not actually stole) in Severville, TN.

Side admission: My first car (at 14) was a 1970 Buick GS stage 1. 455/4speed/posi. smiliepeelout (that smilie needs one more burnout to be accurate)

This is the only picture I have of it. It was an old polaroid taken in 81. I scanned it, but the quality is lousy.

What are your plans for that Chevy, Tyler?

Big V8 and fancy paint, or just get it running and drive it around, or...?

Welcome CTB.....Ignore the commies. You'll come around to being a Ford Guy.
In my youth I was a Dodge guy! My best memories at 6-7y/o was sitting in my dads old f-100.
I sobered up after awhile.

Planning on just driving it for now, maybe some fresh paint. Then maybe a few years from now a v8, suspension, etc.

Don't wanna drop to much money in it, still trying to save up to buy my dads old Bronco back from the guy down the road. He's wanting $1500 for it. We sold it to him for $800 or $1000 if I remember right...but he's put new tires on it, so I guess it's worth it.
