Alright...so the consensus iis to run the yellow accessory/memory wire to a 12v hot all the time fues and the red battery wire to a key on hot fuse aka the 12 spot in the fuse block?

Edit...just read Dak's post.

Yes...one thing to keep in mind though is the current draw of your new radio...I assume it is an aftermarket unit?....if so, you may want to consider using the existing radio cct to switch a relay with a 14 or 12 gauge wire run straight from the battery (fused of course)...this will depend on what the power output of the radio is.

Why does everybody like dent?
Bumps are so much cooler!

Personally, I prefer the lines of dents better than bumps. I feel dents are much smoother and cleaner looking. Not to mention the 70's started adding comforts like P/S, P/B, etc in the 250 4x4's...so a little more refinement. The galvanization also helps prevent rust in some areas. Doesn't mean I don't like bumps...wish I had one.

Its fordification. and I agree with Don Bumps have more character to em and what a bump dont have can easily be added as far as PB/PS go.

Bumps FTMFW Firstplace!
Dents to the number 2!

WRONG. Why don't you go over to the bump section and start chatting about them...oh yeah, that's right...how many bump owners do we have on this site? Hmmm, I wonder why that is. Simple... dents>bumps.

Maybe you just knocked some dirt into the brakes while working on your steering.

I'm trying to be optimistic.

Would be nice, but I checked and it got worse the more weight that distributed to that tire.
