I dont know about em anymore I think my Bumpside looks alot tougher and harder to break. I would love my 76 but it is just one problem after another after another with the thing.

No dads old chevy had posi and was 2wd and it went through snow that was a foot deep.

HA well I am serious. they say I need to find a 2wd longbed, then find a crew cab, stretch it and make a set of doors, then get the 4wd running gear and lift her to the sky.

Probably because it has about 264,000 miles on it...

I knew it was getting old with that many miles on the clock, but it was really showing the signs today.

Slipping between gears, slipping bad from a stop, etc. It got me to the job and back home, but it's gonna be reserved to guarding the driveway until further notice...

Luckily I can drive Brandon's Tahoe for the time being...

Yup, he's got a '93 K1500 Blazer and a '95 Tahoe.

He likes the Blazer better, so I'm free to use the Tahoe if I need it...

If it works out I can freshen up the engine while I'm at it.

It's got 260,000 on it too, so it could use new rings, a valve job, new bearings, etc...

Yeah if it ends up like mine, You'll catch yourself saying, well since I'm doing "this" I might as well do "this". LOL that is how a simple replacing of the heads turned into a custom built 5.4 and tranny! LOL

Yeah, but atleast I could sell it then.

It's a 2wd, I really want a 4wd so I don't have to worry about getting stuck all winter.

But now only an idiot would buy it and wouldn't pay me half of what the old rig's worth.
