This old dude out side of town has about 4 scj's sitting on the floor of his closed shop.
And will not sell them.
He would rather let them sit there and rot.

I voted 460, but not with daily driving in mind. I use my '05 5.4L for that. For what you said you wanna use it for, I'd go with the 300. Great workhorse motor (my dad had an '83 F250 that was virtually indestructible with that 300) and it gets decent MPG. Throw a granny gear tranny at it and you can pull a nicely loaded trailer - we pulled a livestock trailer with ours.

there all a good choice, but out of the three id shy away from the 390 unless you wanted to spend big money geting it to servive runin on unleaded gas. FE's dont have hardend valve seats
