Just got a call from the powdercoat place, all items are done. Will pick them up next week and drop another batch off. Transmission and transfer case will be dropped off at rebuilders on the way home.

I'd be so exited I'd have to pick them up NOW

x a bagazillion. side question though...exposing my powdercoating ignorance...I'd imagine fit is pretty high on your priority list, is the thickness from the pc going to affect any of your gaps and tolerances?

No...anything that is like that will have dryfilm applied instead.

Went and picked stuff up today...very, very happy with the place and the job done! I dorked out and had them do the oilpan black and it should have been blue..:headbang: So that will have to be redone. I dropped off the transmission and transfer case housing.
Fingerprints and marks are just dust.

The dryfilm coating..amazing stuff, no oil will stick, all will return to the bottom. The inside of the transmission pan was done the same. I will be dryfilming the piston skirts, rods, crank etc.
