It's called a "parking lot", Brad, and it's the favored habitat of that Ford crew-cab. :p :p

Low lock = 4 lo. I haven't seen an actual 2 lo, only way I know of that is to not engage the hubs in 4 lo.

Folsom Lake :) The nearest boat ramp is about 15 minutes from my moms house. Lake is at 108% capacity right now.

Yeah that exactly how I accomplished 2 lo. Put it in 4 lo but left the hubs disengaged.

Yup! It was at some kind of all time low last year, then late this winter season it started filling up FAST! Now it's gorgeous out there.

Give him a break....you know how hippies roll...

With their forefingers and thumbs?

Looks good Chris. I wouldn't worry about the 220* temporarily. More strain adds heat and as long as it comes back down soon, it won't do any damage. Sustained driving at a high temperature would.

Recap of 2009 to date.

Chris took his truck 4 wheeling
Chris got drunk
Chris finally towed the boat.

You'll be eating hot pockets and watching Nascar next season. :p

How many years before he's four-wheeling with the boat hooked to the back while drunk off his [rear]? (In other words, before he's Tony.:D)

Yeah, haha. :)

How long is that boat of yours Chris? My 300 pulls our 20ft boat and single axle trailer pretty decently, and even ran good over the sierras (we went to Pyramid Lake). The low end torque helps a ton.

Oh, and unplugging the surge brakes might have been an intellegent move... smilieneenar
