Okay, I got in a cleaning mood today and pulled the interior out. ALL OF IT!

Here's what's what: The floor mat is great and all, but I'd like carpet. That's on the list. The floor was holding water and the driver's side has some surface rust and paint peeling. I plan on fixing that this week. I pulled all of the insulation with plans to rubberize the floor. It so happens that I picked up a few cans of rubber liner today at Lowes!

Enough with the talk, have some pics. (These are all pre-clean. I will add the clean ones tomorrow when it get's light out.)

By the way, here's what I got when I decided to install the radio. Bleh.

The inside is nice and solid. Dang they butchered that harness.

The truck will never see off road, if I have my way with it, so I'll just photoshop some dirt onto it!

Are you going to do anything about some of the rust on the floor pans? I bought some stuff that seems to work well from Eastwood that will seal and encapsulate the rust without having to grind or sandblast. Looks like it's going to be a nice ride when it's all said and done.

Thanks Ken. I plan on grinding it down, it's not too much. I've heard about the stuff that seals it, then it does something like make the surface a primer. I might look around.

Yup, that's exactly what it does. Pretty amazing stuff.

No 4x4, but it would be nice.

I have an itch under my skin telling me to drop and z. :D It would be hot laying on the ground. Maybe some air bags to bring it back up for towing.
