Austin's 1990 F-Superduty Build Thread

To clarify, I thought you said the plumbing problem you had today was above your basement garage.....It was my feeble attempt at levity...

Haven't put more paint on it since day one. (1 coat) Looks alright. :D

I would definitely put more than one coat especially when you go to cutting it to make it shine and it will. Look at the 69 Cougar (white) in the project section at rolled one.

I've really focused my energy towards the bed for now, since it is off of the truck. Kinda my test area.

When I get to the cab, I'll razor the runs out and do a full 2-3 coats.

Hell the exhaust is easy, soak them bolts with some PB'Laster take that flange off and weld on a piece of pipe.....FWIW, Napa carries tailpipes for these trucks for around 70 bucks....I can get you a part number if ya want...

ha ha you and me think alike Austin......black or chrome?

smilieIagree Haven't decided on black or chrome yet... Leaning to black.

I like black and white for the truck overall, but it is getting chrome wheel simulators. I also like that the black will be better with the smoke; chrome would get dirty. Might also save me a few dollars.
