Today I did some pressure washing and got some primer down. I'm going to have to get some degreaser for inside the fender flares; they're pretty dirty.

I'm still on the fence with whether I want to bed-line the inner flares and fender wells...

The pics are all pre-clean; I'll grab some clean pics tomorrow.

Remember that patch of spray paint I threw on the bed? Well, it looks awesome. I would love just to rattle can the whole truck and get over with it. I won't, though, because I want this paint to last more than a year.

This one's for Duncan, I can't live with other people. I bought this milk and had it for maybe 3 hours when I came back to some missing. (My cousin, who lives across the street, is a suspect... but I've yet to nail it down. Maybe my sister took some to make cake?) Get your own milk!

I polished up the front bumper today, I had nothing better to do!

After getting the lights and lower fascia out of the way:

The tag holder preserved most of the chrome's luster. My goal is to get the rest to match.

Some scratches that I'd like to get out someday...

After a good wash with soap and water:

The first round with Turtle Wax chrome polish... I wasn't pleased.

This is after a coat of silver polish to really pull up all of the grime.

Finished product, for now!

Time for new shock bushings tomorrow. Gonna get some other misc parts while I'm at the store too.

Today on a gravel road, I lost my exhaust. Right under the cab is a flange where the exhaust connects to itself. The PO, for some reason, cut the pipe right after the flange. The pipe was then connected via clothes hanger. Hit a good hole and POP!

Went up to the shop and had the flange removed (Gasket was leaky) and had a new section welded on. Also had a new hanger near the back of the truck - it was also a wire hanger contraption. Total for the job was $20. Not terrible, if you ask me.

Got me a winda sticker for when all is said and done. Gonna go on the windshield.
