Hows it going everyone! Ive been having a reacurring problem after driving about 15 minutes at night my charging gauge will drop amd the headlights will get dim (high and low beam) what could be the cause of this? Bad alternator battery maybe? Any help is appreciated as usual!

Yeah! The truck was sitting in a barn since 83 and had all new body mounts on it! I also had about 8 people hanging out at the garage so I just had them pick ip the bed! It was very quick and smooth!
I completed the body lift today. Took about an hour and a half. You can tell its a little different but now im just pumped for the sunspension lift! Pictures to follow!
Ok well thank you the helps appreciated! Some more info on me. Im a 17 year old kid with a gas guzzler as a daily drive(I love it) and I just spent alot of money on the suspension lift and got all the hockey pucks pre drilled for free thats the only reason Im going this route.
I can see theres mixed feelings. It must e a pennsylvania type thing to do. i know numerous people that have lifeted there vehicles with hockey pucks. Ive actually helped install one on a 4 door chevy mid size truck. I just wasnt sure if there was anything that would be stretched with the lift...
You got it! I guess I shoulda mentioned the suspension lift at first! But body lift this weekend suspension lift next weekend! Will definetly post some pictures!
I knew I was gonna catch hell for this!! Hahah Im using hockey pucks cause i got them pre drilled and 30 of them for free. I just want that extra inch. I also have a 4 inch suspension lift coming monday so i guess im just trying to accomplish being one step higher!
Hi I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on what all needs to be done for a 1 inch body lift on my 1977 ford ranger 4wd reg cab. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im using hockey pucks as my spacers im hoping to be able to tackle the lift tomorrow. Thanks!
Im looking into lifting my 1977 for f100. Its coild spring in the front. I was gonna go with the 4 inch rough country lift for the front but i was wondering if there was any compatible leaf springs for the rear that would lift it 4 inches but also give me heavier duty suspension for towing.
Can any one help me on how to re wire my gas gauge to an aftermarket gas gauge i know that its run off of ohms but dint you need a 12 volt supply? Any help would be appreciated!!

the trans that is in the truck now was bolted to a 351M and my parts trans is a small block bell housing not sure of the motor it was attached to i know its out of a truck
Sorry about not responding i was on vacation for the past week and the front pump only has 7 bolts and none of the holes are threaded does this mean the trans is not a c6?!
Can anybody explain to me the proper procedures of removing the C-6 front pump from the trans?! can you do this while the trans is still in the truck any help would be great. P.S. i already have the motor out im trying to steer away from pulling the trans.:guns:
