FWIW, I always turn drums and rotors, even NIB parts. Same goes with those items that look good when servicing brakes.

And I don't want to be hearing about your skidmarks.

Makes sense, Eric. I just didn't want to travel 80 miles to get them done. I did, however, hit the drums/rotors with scotchbrite pads to smooth them out and/or remove some glaze. And yes, you'll be hearing a lot more about my skidmarks.

Did you use synthetic ?
