I removed my cheap-o plastic bed liner. The bed seems to be in good shape, no rust. Paint is chipping a good bit.

Replaced the distributor and ignition module, due to a hard-starting condition when hot. The plastic connectors on both the distributor and the module just disintegrated when I pulled them apart. I wanted to install just the pickup inside the distributor, but there was only $20 difference between the pickup and the whole distributor.

It only took 4 tries to get the distributor to line up and fit over the oil pump shaft.

Also put some new upper door seals on the doors.

I'd be happy to. The last one I did took ...weeks! I may be sorry, but I bought a rebuilt NAPA. They had a cheaper "mileage plus" brand, but I bought the premium brand. So far, so good.

Trying to finally get my Bronco back together but the ***** is fighting me the whole way...broken bolts, stripped bolts, this breaks, that breaks...yadda frickin yadda. All I should have to do tomorrow though is throw the radiator in, bolt up the accessories and throw the new dizzy in...and she should ***fingers crossed*** be ready to go. Still don't have a clue what went wrong, but the only remaining piece that wasn't new was the distributor.

I know it's not a truck per se. But it's a truck engine.

I tried to install a new radio today. I hate electricity! But, I did get the speakers installed as well as some new ones behind the seat. I also pulled the carpet to hide the wires.

Oh, and this was a new excuse to buy new tools! I got a new wire stripper/crimper and a new rubber handle screwdriver. :D

I picked up my tools that weren't at home to look into my stupid stumbling problem. I will check it tomorrow. And figure out exactly what carb. I have and get a rebuild kit for it.

Number should be on the choke tower. Then instead of flipping through the numerous different pages of the carb manufacturer or on summit of different rebuild kits, I just tell Summit my carb number, how extensive of a build I want to do and they give me the corresponding part number. Takes about 3 minutes instead of looking through carbs and carb kits that don't even pertain to you.

I like their online help.

I wound up getting a kit from NAPA because it will be at the store about 2 hours from now. According to the numbers I was able to read off the tag it looks like I have a 1972 motorcraft 2150 carb.

Getting ready to finish the radio today. I have to run a constant from the fuse box to the radio.

I ran mine right out to the starter solenoid. You aren't going to stick a flat terminal under the fuse are you? For the key on power wire I tapped into the original wiring connector near the ashtray.

I'm not sure of what type of connection I want to use, maybe just straight up wire...

How do you plan on tapping into the fuse box?

Sticking a wire on top of the fuse.
