The wrong heads?

Their research showed that it somehow made sense to put 1980s heads on a 1974 block. So I asked them if they put Chevy pistons in it too. They didn't find that funny for some reason

Installed my roff lights from LMC. I can't complain. They fit and look like the old ones. They even have DOT numbers.

Did the lenses come with gaskets also, or are those separate? My lenses are fine, but the gaskets are rockhard and don't seal very well.

They didn't come with gaskets but I think you can get them seperately.

Put the diamond-plate bed accessories on.......bedrail covers,front of bed edge cover, tailgate cover.....put on lightbar and toolbox as well......

You torqued it to spec right? Were the heads checked to make sure they weren't warped?

yep.. dead on with specs when i torqued em down... in the correct torque sequence. the heads were checked when at the machine shop. something just didnt seal right, weather a piece of dirt or something or the gasket got nipped up when dropping the head on the block idk..

I do but I am broke until February.

I would pull the engine and rebuild it.
