what do I need to cover (under hood)

I plan on spraying everything down with "super clean" and hosing it off.

What cannot get wet?

I have a generator, distributor, voltage regulator, coil, a solenoid, and a heater motor. That is about all the electrical stuff under there.

For those who do not know already, it is a 1956 272 Y-block V8

Once the engine bay is cleaner, I will polish the chrome.

Main thing I would be concerned with would be the distributor, everything else should be ok.

What I usually do is put a grocery bag around the cap and distributor base, works pretty well. Tie it on there, and avoid spraying that area too much.

I am currently still cleaning the outside. Getting there slowly. I can't take the heat anymore.
