Transmission Question

I second what Andy said...for the most part the T-18's came in the "lighter duty" vehicles...the T-19's in anything above F-150.......Still a damn good transmission......

I can not go into granny unless stopped, even have to be going real slow to downshift to 2nd. I have a light duty 3/4 ton.

Chances are you are probly correct...like Andy said the T-19's have a fully synchronized first gear...the T-18 is unsynchronized thus you having to stop...I'd say you've got a T-18......

No one was doubting you, I don't think. I have never heard of a T-18 being in an F250 before. I thought they were all T-19's.
