Transformable Transmissions?

I am putting a new tranny in the truck with the motor and stumbled across a built mustang tranny that is the 4r70w like mine but obviously different.

My question is could I swap out tailshafts and use it in my truck?

a 2x4 and 4x4 use differnet out put shafts, to use it. the unit has to come apart to change the shaft out.

Well the output shaft is too small which i figured but didn't realize that the part that is broke on mine is the output shaft gear so it wouldn't do me any good.
