What'd I'd do guys is just post them in your applicable generation forum. When we move them, we'll leave a permanent redirect link. Some of these forums have Waaaaaaay too many stickes as it is.
To add to what Steve said, and what others have mentioned. Make them a locked sticky thread that no one can reply to, and hot link in just that 1 post. Let the mods put them where they fit. 1 tech writeup might fit in 2 different places. Things that are really engine specific (thinking 6.0 psd adn 6.4 psd, and now the 6.7 psd when it comes out) probably belong where their respective owners are going to look first. Torqshift is the one that could go in several. The beauty of locking them is that they don't get filled up with crap. It will add some additional duties to the mods though. However that said, it might be time to add a few more moderators.
Thank you to everyone for their input on this issue. I guarantee we don't always have all the right answers or ways to do things. We really did give this issue a lot of consideration before we rolled it out and this is what we are going to stay with, at least for the time being.
Post up threads in the respective forums and we can copy the tech threads into a seperate thread LEAVING the original in the originating forum AND left open for discussion. The tech write up forums is the tech without the rest of the chatter.
We may find we have made a giant error in how we decided to do this or we may find it is going to be great. Only time will tell and when it does we will go from there.
