I emailed the guy. No luck on getting a deal through him. He just recommended a shop in Rohnert Park called RPM (Rohnert Park Machine). Sorry buddy, looks like you'll have to pay full price.

On the topic of chips my truck is "supposed" to have one, what'd be the best way to check that out and see what it it?

You MIGHT be able to peek and see it if you remove the driver side kick panel. They piggyback onto the rear of the ECU. If you can see it there then you'll probably have to pull the ECU.
