when in doubt, throttle out... get ahead of the wreck is what i always say... ahhaha
Id put a cummins. Better milage and more power, last longer If your going to spend the money. Why not?
go 351W... can rev like a 302, but has low end torque close to the 300...
the 351 has more torque than the 300 everywhere on the curve.
Ryan
I'll give the 300 all the longevity awards in the book, but I won't put it up to the 351 in performance. That 351 is one bad motor. I can't wait to hop mine up a little bit.
Ryan
oh god.. i know... thats why i said he needs to go 351W...
hehe... i cant wait to get mine back going again... WOOOO!!!! i'm gonna be fawkin up some Chebby 350's and 5.3's.....
lol.. possessed by a badass engine!!!!
Wrong again Ringo.... Possessed by the engine who refuses to run.![]()
it dont refuse to run. it can run, i just refuse to run it since I buggered up the head gasket previously... @$$wipe!!
Cliff...I'd think loooooong and hard about keeping the 300/6, next choice would be a 351W. Both good engines for a half ton platform, kinda opposite ends of the spectrum, just have to decide which end makes more sense for you.
