I question the rarity of the light, or maybe the rarity of it being left in there... I have one on my 86, have one on my dad's 84, and even had one on the low buck 85 parts truck I just got rid of last summer. (Yes, I kept it...)

Yep she was a farm truck from day one. Then a work truck after that,my oldest son was nice enough to clean the bed. Surprising it was all solid and almost dent free, one big dent in the middle of the bed.

Hi Fellro, I guess rare was the wrong word, but man, I looked everywhere for it I like having it, has come in handy already.

The underhood light was unplugged when I bought it. my youngest plugged it up and it worked.

Hey Cliff, looks like your truck has the light group, as well as possibly the convenience group. It looks like a base truck, but it is special optioned.

No it's a Explorer A 302 EFI with a AOD trans which the last 82 I had that was a 302 EFI had a C4 trans it was a base model

My wife job was outsourced in July of last year. We tried for Fla but there was no work for her there either. There are jobs here,but I hate it here. So we will be saving all we can for a few years to get back to Fla.
