performance modification

Ok.. so I'm getting the itch to make my truck a little better I need to scratch.

What are some ideas for increasing it's power output i guess you could say..
things that arent ridiculously expensive and can be done at home.

Any suggestions are great.
Not looking to make it real noisy (not looking to put a loud muffler on it or anything)

Hmm... I'd install a second thrust booster turbine... Ohh and more efficient flux capacitor. What's that? You're not working on a futuristic space ship? Ohh, I wouldn't know, you didn't tell us what you're driving!!!
