Does the manual tranny Rangers (94 vintage) have rev limiters, like the auto tranny Rangers have?

more than likely it does. but theres only one way to find out. floor it in neutral.

As far as I know they do. I think the last ranger without one was the 2.9.

I know for certain that OBDII Rangers only had rev. limiters with automatic transmissions. I'm relatively certain the same holds true for 1994.

The OBDII Rangers do have speed limiters though- something different.

Believe it or not, though, even with a speedometer that reads 18% faster than road speed, I've never found the thing.
