All good choices in my book. As far as gaskets are concerned, it might be beneficial to go with a valley pan...that's assuming the C suffers from the same intake leaks the M and 400 do. That carb should be perfect for you...great size and the 60 is a more user friendly version of the 4150. And again...good choice on the headers, when it comes to budget headers, Hooker is a much better choice than the alternatives.

yeah.

carb.. dont wanna go to big. but wanna be big enough it can feed this beast. idk of it having any intake leaks like the tall decks do.

headers.. im worried about fitting.. i hope they clear the frame rails etc.

intake.. i wish i could've found a dual plane that would work.. but they pretty much all were WAY TO EXPENSIVE if they'd work or they would only fit the 4v heads..

You might want to check out the headers with summit just to make sure they will fit ...... here is some (way to expensive) that they sell on ebay in australia just for f series trucks - them clevo's are really wide eh.

You know Chris....guys like Tim Meyer can answer your questions and give you the same price or better than Summit.
Just sayin'

you could probably get away with using 351m/400 headers for 77-79 truck.

I thought I read he had 4v heads...the M/400 are 2v...so he'd need adapter plates.

Chris, take a look at Edelbrocks 2750 Performer. It`s a 4v carb intake to fit 2v heads.

As for the headers, I didn`t see a listing for what they`re supposed to fit, but if the picture is accurate, I`d say they`re for Mustangs and wont fit without mods. See the writeup in the tech writeups forum.

Now, once upon a time I put a couple of 351c`s in an 87. The first on used manifolds, the second used a set of headers I picked up but had no idea what they were for. They fit, sorta.

I`ll get a pic of them when I go out and tell you what I did to make them fit.

I THINK they came off an 80-82 with an M/400, but am not sure.
