Are you looking for mirrors like you have? I have two. I can take pictures. I think they were off of a 94

Right side mirror for 88 Bronco. Partsguyed.com lead me to this: http://www.trademotion.com/partloca...86&make=10&model=Bronco&year=1988&catalogid=2 but without a diagram or even a number I'm clueless.
 Uh...which style of right side mirror would you like? There are seven different types, I kid you not.

1980/89 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog / Text-Section 176, Page 4 .. all the types are illustrated.

Ask Mil1ion to scan and post this section from the catalog (Edit: I just remembered it's already here, look towards the bottom of the first page in the Generation 7 forum.

Mil1ions thread titled: Someone asked for Mirror Types / See post #1.

Look at the 14 different outside mirror pics (not all apply to Bronco's), pick out the TYPE number you want, post it. I'll take it from there.

Which would you prefer...the whole tamale or just the mirror head.

You could get the whole tamale, or the mirror head only. The bracket was not available by itself.

The whole tamale. I cannot make out from the pic which mirror you want, so here's three different types of them.

EOTZ-17696-E .. R/L Single Position Stainless O/S Mirror with 6" x 9" stainless steel mirror head / Obsolete

Last MSRP: $84.24 / Dealer net cost: $58.97.

There are dozens still available from FoMoCo Dealers/obsolete parts vendors.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
EOTZ-17696-D .. R/L Dual Position Stainless O/S Mirror with 6" x 9" stainless steel mirror head / Obsolete

Last MSRP: $197.10 / Dealer net cost: $137.97.

Dozens still available from the same sources as stated above.
-----------------------------------------------------------
E5TZ-17696-A .. Right Side O/S Mirror with 5" x 8" Aero chrome mirror head / Obsolete

Last MSRP: $69.46 / Dealer net cost: $48.62.

Note: On PARTSGUYED.COM's (Horizon Ford in Seattle WA) webpage, the MSRP & discount prices appear, but below...it says: This item is Discontinued.

Dozens of these are still available from the same sources as stated above.

But, since these mirrors are obsolete, they cannot be ordered from FoMoCo.

Pick out the puppy you want, I'll type the sources and phone numbers.

I have an NOS 80's Mirror head for sale. It has the bubble type back.

I'll have to check the number on the box but I'm pretty sure it is for an 83 E-series with the aerodynamic back.

You interested ?

There are no part numbers so I assume they are aftermarket mirrors. My neighbor got them when he had his Bronco and then gave them to me when he got rid of it. I'll have to look and see if I have the gaskets for them. I'm not sure.

There are no part numbers so I assume they are aftermarket mirrors. [confused]
:rotz: There are no part numbers marked on any parts after 1956...just ID Engineering or Casting Numbers (when applicable).

There are no ID engineering numbers marked on this type of mirror and these are right & left specific genuine Ford type 9 low mount Swing-Lok's.

What makes these Swing-Lok's is the round locking device in between the upper mirror bracket & the upper door bracket.

I have yet to see an aftermarket mirror with this feature and the warning on the R/H mirror head glass.

The mirror brackets are the same, but only the right mirror head glass has the warning: OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR.

Dennis: While the aero mirror pic you posted is essentially the same for F Series trucks, Bronco's and Econolines, be aware that: 1983 R/ refers to 1983/89 Rangers ONLY!

Rangers, Bronco II's & Aerostars only have that re-inforcement bracket inside the doors.

E5TZ-17723-A .. R/H Aero Mirror Head-5" x 8" Convex Chrome.

Original applications: 1985/93 Econoline / 1985/96 F150/250 & Bronco / 1985/97 F350 & F(Super Duty) / 1986 Aerostar.

Note: Both the Ford Dealer Parts Locator System and PartsGuyEd's website are down for maintenance (typical at this time), so...

I cannot list the prices and I dunno if the mirror head is still available. I will not be able to pass this info along till later this afternoon.
