oil pan

has anyone on this page heard anything about the oil pan being to small on the 6.4 and ford knowing about it

I know it still holds 15 qts of oil.

That strikes me as odd. The 6.4 has the same oil capacity as the 6.0, is the same architecture as the 6.0 and since it doesn't use the crankcase oil to actuate the injectors it has less demand for same...

hey thanks for the replies. the thing is my WIFE talked to someone about their 6.4 and he tokd her about the problem of the oil pan being too small but then my wife is from MISSOURI the show me state so i had to ask the question
