i got another starter for a 5.8/C6

i need a 5.0 M5od??? is there any difference?

headers are on and 75% of fuel system is on.. just gotta install the filter and regulator..

I see your smog pump isn't mounted. If you aren't going to use it, you might want to get an eliminator pulley. I tried mine without it and the tensioner couldn't keep the belt tight enough, even with a short belt. The placement of the smog pump pulley helps let the tensioner work.

i never had a prob with my old 5.8 when i did this.. so if it slips ill get a idler pully... but i do got the idler pully for the A/C...

it was a yellow marine something something that can hold allot..


heck no im not gonna take the engine out.. im gonna remove the tranny and switch flywheels and install this week..

My dad bought his 1963 Thunderbird in 1988. By 1991 he had the engine rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, PS pump rebuilt, new TC.... and then he got married. The project is still in our garage...

Things take time... Like our 21 year Tbird project.

we moved the trans back like a foot or 2 enough room to remove clutch/flywheel yesterday now sitting here waiting for the flywheel to arrive friday.. maybe it will start saturday
