don't play well w others
Nice Job!

You may want to get a controller from summit or Jeggs. That way the fans come on and off automatically at a temp you preset.
The controller also kicks one or both fans on when the a/c switch comes on. Putting electric fans on my truck made a big difference

I still don't know if I should do this on my truck after I go 3G alternator swap..

the reason i did it becuase know the stock fan wont spin to 7000 rpm on the other engine otherwise i didnt bother

but it feels nice to have it engine responds allot more faster and feels a little faster aswell

Do it. Go get some Windstar fans from the junk yard, and throw them in there. The part I absolutely love about mine is how quickly it starts making heat in the cab when it`s cold out side. I will say this though, don`t cheap out on the controller. I`ve killed two Flex-A-Lite controllers and am going to step up to something a little better.

I didn't know people sold fan controllers! Hmm....

Ryan

Most people won't buy them, they are not cheap.

The Hayden 3647 works well as well, but is a very basic controller....and under $40 is very affordable.

That takes up to a 30 amp draw. So what size fuse would you use?

30 amp continuous would dictate a 40 amp fuse...fuses are 80% rated at a continuous load...wiring would be need to support that load as well.
