Glad you are happy with them Roy, I use them in all the vehicles we own that will accept them.

definitely a difference

thanks again to Duncan who gave me these bulbs

That's quite a difference! Are the pictures before and after taken at the same distance/height?

OK, so the POS carb that was a retard re-manufactured from ***** had to go, the choke didn't work properly, the pull off was shot, and the float setting was off and it was always rich and flooding, and all the gaskets were starting to leak.

So I scored big time with this all original Ford carb in great condition for get this... $56.00 !!

here it is :)

Oh, what a feeling when everything runs right. I fought a cold start issue for over a year before I adjusted the pull down - problem solved. Nice score on the carburetor. Did you have to rebuild it first?

Hi Doug, nope, just new gas filter and put it on. Fired right up and runs great!!
The truck it came off had just arrived a week earlier and they took it off and put it their inventory. I did go through it and checked all fasteners and adjustments, etc. and sprayed carb cleaner to clean it.

Here's the POS re-manufactured carb, don't buy them, I learned the hard way:(
It's a hit or miss with them, and it's usually a miss! I will buy the carb re-build kit when the time comes, I'm not giving away the new one like I did with the original one that was on the truck.

just before I removed it

yup!! I still kicking myself for giving the old carb to the store for the core exchange...:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: and getting that POS that didn't even last a year, and the parts were not all original on it, I didn't know better then, but I guess it's all part of the learning curve, right?

I have always bought a new Eddy Carb if I had to replace the carb. To be honest I really like FI a lot better.
