There is a lightning motor and tranny (together) and seats . Any guess what it might go for???


Might Ebay mail him to see what other parts may have (Dash switch for fogs ,Guages,rear ECu . Hecktheymay be on there I didnt have time to check

hmm idk... Id like to have the lightning setup in my truck for sure. I got that fog light switch for the dash already hehe. Only imma be using it for off road lights.. How many miles on the motor and trans? Got a link?

That last one would be the one to get, the price is gonna go up too. ( motor and tranny).

I'd have to agree, that last one (very nice 351) is the one I want out of those.

I'm constantly puzzled why the lightning bits draw such dollars... the engine is rated for 240HP and 340 ft/lb. Certainly not "radical" or "wild" in my book.

While there are some other factors (4.1x rear, better "snap" in the E40D shifting code and so forth...) there's nothing stopping anyone from building something equivalent or better in your garage.

Not bad . the drive to get it would be $$$ About 2 1/2 hours if right

I just looked at a 93 4x4 302 5 spd southern truck (No rust ) no bed 73000.

Bumper was back in to tire and was small kink in rad mount . Wanted $600
I got all parts to fix but . bed.

The final bid was 4K , I knew it was gonna higher than 2500, thats alot of money for just a motor and tranny.

Seems like you could have someone build something a lot peppier than that for 4 grand. You can get a 'mild' roush engine and build up a transmission for it for that price.
