Lighted headlight switch knob?

Did the knob found on the Gen.10’s ever illuminate/light up? The NOS switch I installed just has white paint on the indicator, exactly the same as the one it replaced (paint was completely worn away)

Well, the knob never illuminated. So odd that Ford did the manual A/C knobs but not the headlight knob. Oh well, lol!

I like finding NOS OEM parts for this one Doug! I do miss OldOrange250. That Gen has now become even more collected by Ford Fanatics.
