Leaf Spring Height 1/2 ton vs. 3/4 ton

Alright guys, does anyone know the ride height difference between brand new springs for the 150 and the 250? I have a busted 2 busted leaves and a busted shackle hanger and am going to have to buy all new stuff. If the 3/4 ton isn't a huge ride height difference, I might do it.

Input would be appreciated guys.

I think the 250s springs thickness is like 3 1/2" compared to 150s 2".. So unless you changed them all out you would be lop sided

I will be changing both sides.

So I'm reading here and there are 2 1/2" springs and 3" springs. Is this 1/2 ton vs. 3/4 ton? The weight ratings are 1400lbs vs. 1700lbs. Does this add width instead of height? I need new hangers anyway, so it's not an issue about the width of those.

The width of the leaves are the same Ryan, 3". I'm not sure about height, but I'm willing to bet the ride will be stiffer. My brother's F250 rides stiff as a board.

I think they will work fine, the only difference is the 250s had added springs so the thickness of the spring pack is bigger then the 150s, but lengths and widths are all the same.
As for the shackles I really don't know, I believe they are the same.

Oh I know it's a direct bolt swap-- I'm just saying I think the ride height and ride quality will be affected by a large margin.

Yeah its going to ride like a Sherman tank, and you might end up losing traction in the rear with hardly no give that those 250 springs have, I think you might want to stick to the stock springs.

Well what I'm seeing on bronco graveyard is 2 sets of gear. There's 2 1/2" sets, and 3" sets, and they have different weight ratings.

The springs in my truck are currently 2 1/2".

Oh crap I forgot about 2wd vs 4wd. Yeah there could be two different widths for the two drivetrains-- I only know about the 4wd stuff. Sorry bud :p

The F250 springs? Stiffer ride. If there's more leaves in the pack then it will ride stiffer. Plain and simple.

Wider leaf.

Bronco Graveyard has two spring packs listed as Bronco / F150. One has 1400lb rating, the other has 1700lb. The first is 2 1/2", which is what I have, and the other is 3".

The way I read it is that he has one busted pack. He is going to replace both anyways and wants to know if he can swap in a set of F250 springs.
