We will Rise Again
Sometimes the more you mess with things the more problems arise. If it works and don't leak, I'd also leave it. When I was installing my gauges I used the copper tubing for the oil pressure and it was working, but I didn't like the way I ran the tubing (wanted to clean it up a bit), so I decided to do it over and then I ended up messing up the end fitting and what not and I couldn't get the thing to stop leaking. My Napa didn't carry just the little acorn compression fittings so I was stuck at the time and needed to get it working, so I used the plastic tubing supplied with the gauges and it is still that way. I may just leave it or I may have to get a new copper line set and do it over. I kinda just hate the thought of using the plastic tubing.
