Well yes I do...but it would have to be a SC...not a regular cab. But money is a little tighter than expected right now...dropped $600 in the last week I wasn't expecting, and the truck budgets are lower than expected right now too. So considering I'm not really looking for a fixer upper, I'd be looking at dropping an easy 5-7k, which I don't have right now. I'm also working on getting a 78 Bronco over spring break, and that 59 250 4x4 just became available too...so that's what I'm shooting for now. And besides, I don't give out my contact info. But thanks for the offer.

Yeah the 72 has power brakes and manual steering but all that sorta stuff can be swapped over to make it a little more comfortable. I might do a delay wiper swap in it just so the wipers dont smear the windshield.

I don't doubt that...I just don't make it habit to make it readily available. Hell, I'm listed, so if you can find an online phone book and know what cities my mailing address is, you'll be able to find me pretty easily. Even a quick search on here will yield you the cities, and I believe in one NC thread I even listed the street of my permanent address...so I'm not naive...I just don't wanna make things that easy.

For the most part I do...but I remember what I was like when I was 14...and I have a little brother who is entering that age (13) and one who just left it (17)...so I understand. You're just a youngin with alot of learning to do, and with the right direction you'll be alright. I like to take the same approach with kids as I do vehicles, try to make 'em right before you give up on them. On top of that, I do alot of youth work at church when I'm home...used to be really active back in high school, and I coach youth sports...so I probably have a higher tolerance than most folks do. And besides, you're a dentside fan, so you can't be all bad...haha.

What are you afraid of?

Of the other wants...59 Mercury 250 4x4 (88 made, know a guy with one and I got first crack at it when he sells it), a scs converted 4x4, a 350 CC 4x2 converted to 4x4 so I can have a long bed, a dually 4x4 dent, and some how I'd like to acquire a highboy from every year starting with 67 to 77.


As for your bday...you excited about finally being able to legally drive (with a parent of course)?

Ok to get this back on track Have you guys ever had a hard time findin upper radiator foses for a super cooler? I had to go to every parts store in town and Napa finally had one and itll be in tomorrow at 8 am. The upper out let on that super cooler is bigger than the thermostat so they finally found one and they call it a dual diamiter hose. Thats the last thing in my timing chain fix besides puttin water in it and puttin a timing light on it and gettin er runnin good.

Huh...never had that problem before...but then again I never had a super cooler radiator before. You figure you needed the dual diameter hose because the SC radiators were for a 460 (IIRC) trucks...and the FE housing the hose has to mate to isn't the same size as a 460 housing? I wouldn't figure there would be a problem ordering the hose...so I dunno why only the NAPA could figure out what you needed.

I bought one of those extra cooling units for my 460 and don't know if it's just the make of the radiator or what, but the upper hose when attached is a bit more kinked than I would like it, but it's fine when the engine is running. I tried different hoses and couldn't find any other hose that would remotely fit. I do think the hose I bought was for a 460 too. No problem with the lower radiator hose.

ok!!! TY only radiator i evar had was the SC type apparently judging by the pic. so i wasnt sure what the discussion was about my 302 had the same radiator as my current 460 according to those pics
